Saraubi Harrison

Saraubi Harrison.jpg

Saraubi is a DC native who is dedicated to bridging the gap between inner-city kids and STEAM programs. In 2019, Saraubi graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Shortly after, she began her career as a software engineer. Over the last six years, Saraubi has spent her time advocating and fighting for the rights of marginalized populations through community-organized protests, community-led events and community fundraising. Saraubi’s passion for mentoring transitioned into her volunteer work with inner city and at-risk youth where she would lead weekly workshops and activities geared towards their mental, physical, and financial development.

Saraubi completed her CASA training in April 2020 and immediately joined the Professionals Council. Saraubi has a passion for community activism and advocacy and is excited to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all DC foster youth.
