Virtual Reading Challenge
sponsored by the Professionals Council
October is National Book Month, and CASA DC’s Professionals Council is hosting a reading contest from October 1 to December 1 for CASA volunteers and their youth. This is a great way to encourage youth literacy and engagement with youth!
The contest will reward youth with prizes based on the number of books they read. Even one book counts towards a prize, but the more books your youth reads, the more likely they are to win the grand prizes: Apple Airpods, a Kindle Fire, and a scooter or a bike!
CASA volunteers can sign up below. For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.

GivingTuesday is a global movement that unleashes the generosity and power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world.
GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. This idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
CASA DC needs generous support to fulfill our mission to our volunteers and our youth. Volunteering and fundraising are the primary ways you can help. In partnership with the Catalogue for Philanthropy, we will be participating in Giving Tuesday "power hours" and other events. We thank you in advance for helping us transform the world!
