CASA for Children of DC Named “2022 TOP-RATED NONPROFIT” by GreatNonprofits
Award based on Community Recommendations
Washington, DC 11/28/22 – CASA for Children of DC announced today it has been named a “2022 Top-Rated Nonprofit” by GreatNonprofits, the leading website for community recommendations of charities and nonprofits.
CASA for Children of DC recruits, trains, and supports volunteer court-appointed special advocates (CASA volunteers) to provide mentorship and best interest advocacy to foster care and juvenile justice youth in Washington, DC resulting in court-involved youth having a stable, positive adult figure who can serve as a protective factor against the impact of the trauma.
