April has served as a CASA for nearly two years. By day, she works for a management consultant supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense where she consults on a program that oversees the destruction of U.S. chemical weapons.  Outside work, April serves as Vice Chair on the Leaders of Hope Council at Academy of Hope Adult Public Charter School.  She also served as President and Chairwoman of the Board for a young nonprofit that provided programming for young professionals interested in international affairs.

 

Prior to moving to DC, she was a soccer coach for a girls club team.  She is passionate about creating environments where those most in need can thrive.
