Angela Bullock


Angela has several years of experience in the human services field. Her direct practice experience includes providing counseling to women with substance use disorders, providing affordable housing services to low-income families, and working with children and families in the child welfare system. She earned a doctoral degree in Social Work at Clark Atlanta University, a master’s degree at Georgia State University and a bachelor’s degree at Grambling State University.


Angela is currently an Associate Professor at the University of the District of Columbia’s and serves as the Program Director for the BSW program. Her current research includes a focus on technology acceptance in social work education and practice and pre-college programs for foster youth. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking and attending cultural events.
