Karine Semple is a 2009 graduate of Tulane University with a BS in Finance. Karine brings 12 years of strategic operations experience, most recently for a KKR subsidiary, Blue Sprig Pediatrics, where she developed and implemented the strategy and framework for organic growth, rolling out 33 autism clinics nationwide in less than 4 years.

 

Originally born in Scotland, Karine most recently moved to DC from Texas. In the year she's called DC home, Karine has integrated herself in her community, joining Junior League and the board of Capitol Hill Restoration Society.

 

Both professionally and personally, Karine’s work has concentrated on advocacy and inclusion – she looks forward to continuing that focus with CASA DC. She was honored to be sworn in as a CASA in 2021 and is committed to serving the Professionals Council to uplift the communities CASA supports.
