Wesley Jimenez, MS
Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Wesley spent his younger days playing soccer with his friends, enjoying the beach, and partaking in the magic of the island's fried plantain cuisine or mofongo.
Wesley then moved to sunny California, where he obtained his B.S in Biopsychology and Neuroscience from the University of California, Davis. He then headed eastward, as he traded coasts to obtain his Master in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University. Though his ultimate goal is to return to his beloved Puerto Rico to pursue medical school and help reform the island's mental health system, Wesley applies all of his passion, enthusiasm, and warmth as he helps spread and carry on the CASA values in his work as our Program Coordinator.
During his free time, Wesley can be found exploring the local music scene in DC, reading in a neighborhood coffee shop, or playing pick up soccer while sporting his favorite player's jersey, Lionel Messi.
