EMPOWER Program Assistant
Samantha is a current student at American University. She will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Justice & Law and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. At college, she is involved with Phi Alpha Delta (a law fraternity) and is a facilitator in a course designed to assist first year students in learning about issues of privilege, bias and inequalities.
Samantha has a passion for working with and advocating for children, and she hopes to pursue this passion as a career in the near future. She enjoys interning for CASA—specifically as a Program Assistant for the EMPOWER Program—because she believes her work will make a difference in individual youths’ lives. She aims to leave a lasting impact on the youth she works with.
Outside of CASA, Samantha enjoys exploring Washington, DC, playing on a club lacrosse team at college and spending time with her three dogs.
