Rashidat Alarape, JD
Rashidat Alarape, JD attended Georgia State University for undergrad and received her law degree from Barry Law School. Rashidat previously served as an AmeriCorps Court Advocate in Orlando, FL, where she earned the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award. She has also taught citizenship classes to immigrants at the Hope Community Center in Apopka, FL and as a law clerk for Catholic Charities Immigration Legal Services in Baltimore, MD. Rashidat loves being part of an organization that works to provide stable and consistent sources of support, encouragement, and advocacy for so many.
Rashidat manages the Unaccompanied Refugee Minor Population, where she is able to use her background in working with immigrant populations to address the needs of children newly resettled in the U.S. without parents.
Rashidat enjoys traveling, DIY projects and volunteering with her sorors in the Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority.
