Professionals Council

Membership on the Professionals Council (PC) provides an opportunity to develop new skills and widen your professional and social circles — all while serving CASA for Children of DC and our mission to promote court appointed volunteer advocacy so that every abused and neglected child in the DC foster care system can be safe, establish permanence and have the opportunity to thrive.

The Professionals Council is a group of committed volunteers.

The CASA DC Professionals Council is a dynamic group of professionals and dedicated CASA volunteers, who have come together to provide support for CASA DC and its mission to advocate for our most vulnerable youth, and build a strong community for CASA DC volunteers. Founded in 2018, the aim of the Professionals Council is to work alongside CASA DC, as an additional fundraising and outreach arm, in an effort towards ensuring every abused and neglected child in the DC foster care system can be safe, establish permanence, and have the opportunity to thrive.
