Maria is originally from Caracas, Venezuela, and moved to the US (Miami) when she was six years old. She graduated from Princeton in June of 2019 with a degree in Public Policy. In college, she led two volunteer groups - one which worked with HomeFront, the local shelter, and another that taught courses in youth incarceration facilities throughout New Jersey.
She moved to Arlington in June of 2019, and currently works as a paralegal at a boutique law firm that focuses on clean energy and sustainability transactions. She has loved working with her youth in CASA, and is looking to meet other professionals (and friends!) in the DMV who are interested in working to make a difference!
