Virtual Brown Bag Lunch Watch Party

CASA DC's BRIDGES program will be hosting a Virtual Brown Bag Lunch Watch Party for the feature film, Between The World and Me. This film is a visual adaptation of Ta'Nehisi Coates' letter to his 15-year-old son about the challenges of growing up as a black man. Coates draws from his life growing up in Baltimore and examines not only his personal feelings but the history of the ways in which institutions, such as school and the police, have failed the African American community.
