Catherine Mary Barr has lived in Washington, DC since she graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2019 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. She joined CASA DC as a volunteer in the fall of 2019 and has deeply appreciated working with a youth in the EMPOWER Program. She has volunteered with programs that support young girls for the past ten years and feels passionately about the EMPOWER Program’s mission to engage with foster youths at risk of sex trafficking.

 

Catherine Mary is excited to support CASA DC in the Professionals Council role and to spread awareness of CASA DC’s impact throughout the DMV.
