Maghee Disch

Maghee Disch was born in Florida and spent most of her formative years growing up in Central Ohio. Maghee is a graduate of John Carroll University and The Ohio State University where she studied Nursing and obtained a Master’s of Science in Nursing.  Maghee worked for over 10 years at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center as a cardiac ICU nurse, specializing in Heart Failure and Transplant. 

 

Maghee currently works at the American College of Cardiology as the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion with a focus in improving workforce diversity in the field of cardiology and combatting health disparity.

 

Maghee’s other passions include, social justice, health equity and her volunteer work with CASA DC.  In her free time, Maghee enjoys traveling, yoga, time with friends, family and her French Bulldog Henry.
