Allison Kahn-Pauli, JD
Chief of Staff
Allison Kahn-Pauli, JD, came to CASA DC in 2012 with a background in advocacy and children’s law. Allison earned her Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude, from Pace University School of Law in 2011 and a Bachelor’s Degree from Goucher College in 2007. Allison has served as a Pro Bono Advocate for victims of domestic violence in the NYC area, interned with the Yonkers Family Court, and worked as an Honors Extern with the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office. Allison has a lifelong commitment to working with children, and previously taught preschool, art, and drama programs for youth. She is passionate about transforming the world through bettering the lives of children and deeply believes in CASA’s mission to advocate for the best interests of at-risk and vulnerable youth.
Since 2012, Allison has worked with nearly every youth population at CASA for Children of DC, and has been involved with the development and oversight of several programs in addition to organizational standards and training. As Chief of Staff, Allison supports CASA DC's Strategic Planning, Communications, and Development.
In her free time, Allison is a theatre-lover, voracious reader, enthusiast for story-telling/world-building, and appreciator of all things nature. She loves exploring new places and spending time with her family, including her husband and their spunky gray rescue cat, Misty.
